Tisk. Tisk. What a dangerous game to play! You're lucky that you are still alive.

Perhaps after sustaining such injuries you'll think of quitting? No? HMPHHHH.

This thread will get cleaned out every game. This is RPG, come and visit your classmates.

    Cass woke up.
    And went back to sleep.

It was way too bright, and the way she felt right now- unbelievably tightly wrapped up, especially on her waist- was something she was not wanting to stay awake to.
Nevertheless, she woke up, again. The pain was just dull now, an ache, like a bludger to the rib. Oh wait, that was it. Lauren was going to pay for that, she thought, as her hands balled into fists. She'd have to throw a chocolate frog box at her, or something. There was no way she could say anything verbally- had anyone seen her trying to explain herself in a lesson?

She craned her neck upwards to see who else was in there. If she could recall rightly, pretty much everyone she knew was in that match, and a lot of them had gotten hurt. What did she expect? Of course there was bound to be injuries! It was stupid of her to think they'd all get away unscathed.
Waiting for her eyes to unblur, she saw the dark hair of Jasmeet sprawled on a pillow to the left of her. And... yep, there was Harmony, in front of her.
    Stupid bloody bludgers...
    Stupid bloody Potter...

All that Jasmeet remembers is that she fell off her broom after being hit by Alice's bludger, and then hitting the ground. She doesn't remember how she was brought to the Hospital Wing - the place she was right now.

She opened her eyes slowly, and saw the ceiling of the building. She moved her head to her right, and sees Cass sleeping, and on her other side, Harmy.

Her eyes filled with tears as she watched the two, and then closing her eyes again, she fell into unconsciousness.

She mumbled slightly, placing a pillow over her face. It was too bright, wherever she was. Her arm ached something fierce, and she removed the pillow from her face. Next to her, in another bed like hers, there was Jazz. And in the following bed, Cass was in.

Was it that bad? She remembered Lauren's bludger and then falling off her broom. Maybe that's why her arm hurt. She sat up in the bed with difficulty, looking around. Other than her, Jazz, and Cass, the Wing was pretty quiet.

"Hey Cass, glad to see you're awake," though it probably means she feels the pain... Jenny felt guilty for letting her friends get hurt. If only she was a better player she could have blocked some of the bludgers, stopped more goals, basically, anything for her team. "Uh, how are you feeling?" Every attempt she made was shot down. All she did was contribute strategy and help be the brains of the team. That wasn't enough for her, though.
Jenny saw Harmony moving in her bed. Then she remembered- she caught Harmony.

"Harms, you could have gotten really hurt. That bludger knocked you off your broom. I caught you, but i wish i could have blocked it instead. Sorry" she smiled sheepishly, ashamed at her lack of skills.

Cass' mumblings meshed with someone elses.
    Wait. That sounded weird. What?
It was Jennifer. She looked really pretty today. Concerned and pretty suited her.
    Uh, how are you feeling?

"Oh I'm quite fine," slurred Cass. "Forgive the slurring, I have it when I wake up for a few minutesssss. Ah. It's going now," she grinned.
Taking a look at Jennifer, and deciding that Jennifer felt bad about losing, Cass heaved herself up as much as she could without risking another break and said, "don't worry. Losing isn't that much of a deal."

Damn straight. It was a big deal. Nah, not really.

Mary walked in the Hospital Wing slowly. Her leg was killing her, but she knew her pain was nothing to what Cass must be feeling. Poor girl got hit by the bludgers more than the Slytherin could remember. Luckily, she got hit only once, but unfortunately, the pain was almost too much for Mary to take. She sat down on the first bed she saw and clutched her right calf. She didn't even know who hit her, all she knew that it was a beater from the opposite team. The girl was feeling so confused, her pain and sympathy for Cass were mixed with happinness of winning her first Quidditch game ever.

She looked around and saw few people in there and she smiled weakly at them.
"Hi, guys." she said, still clutching her leg. Noticing Cass on the bed, she smiled sympathetic at her.
"Are you okay, Cass?" Mary asked concerned. The Ravenclaw really didn't deserve to have that many bludgers coming her way on the game.

Samantha sat on a bed in the farthest corner of the room, not being spotted was one of the things she did best. In truth, her injuries had looked worse than they had actually been. Professor Green had cleaned up the nose and arm in minutes but Samantha had refused to leave.

And the reason of her refusal was starting to stir.

Drowsy after her obviously draining conversation with Jennifer, Cass looked around eager after hearing her name being called again. Mary seemed to be nursing her leg. "You should get that checked out, you should," she said, winking. "I'll mend."

Looking away into the windows, she watched the rain pour. She counted drops, all up into the hundreds.
    167, 168, 169- Hey! My thought punctuation's come back!
Cass grinned, and looked back down to the floor level again. Samantha was there. Glowing.

Mary grinned at Cass and hardly contained laughter from escaping her mouth. She was, after all, in the Hospital Wing, where people wwere meant to rest, not laugh.
"I'll wait for professor Green, thanks." she turned down Cass' offer to mend her leg.
The Slytherin saw that Cass' gaze went into the corner of the room and Mary looked that way to see Sam sitting there.
"Hi, Sam. Are you okay now?"

"Pretty much," the girl said quietly. "Mary, don't curl your leg like that, it'll hurt more. Just keep it straight."

Turning to Cass, she asked "You okay?" It felt stupidly inadequate for someone who had been used at the target board for bludger practice but she was afraid she would start crying if more words escaped her mouth. And no one needs to see that.

    "Mm,"
It was non-comittal, but it was all Cass had in her. And she was so relieved that Samantha now had her feet on ground.
"I'm so glad you have your feet on ground, you know," she said cheerily. "Come sit here."
She patted the space on the bed next to her, and deemed it small. She edged closer to the side.

Samantha got up from the bed and slowly shuffled over to Cass. Taking a seat on the Ravenclaw's bed, she curled up her knees in front of her, resting her chin on them. After a while, she said quietly.

"Hey, Promise me you'll get better at evading bludgers okay?" Her head was lowered, inky black hair curtaining her pale face.

Harmony shook her head, wincing as her neck popped.

"S'okay Jen," she mumbled, running a hand down her face. "Not your fault at all. Maybe I should've been paying more attention instead of going after that Snitch so hard. You guys okay?"

She turned and looked at the other girls in the hospital beds.

Jasmeet opened her eyes slowly, she could hear whispers around her, and tried to match them to their faces. She craned her neck to see who was there, but all she saw was a blurred vision of everyone. She mumbled slightly, before blinking eyes a few times.

She tried to sit upright, but she felt pain hit her suddenly, and just stayed laying there. She let out a small moan at the pain.

"It's okay, you were doing your job. You're a seeker" and i'm a beater. Jenny frowned. Would she have felt better if she had gotten hurt? Perhaps. It hurt even more to know that she wasn't even worth attacking, for she couldn't do any harm to the other team, anyway.

Jenny wasn't sure if Cass hit her head, she looked a little more loopy that usual, but she shrugged it off. Perhaps it was a side effect of a potion Prof. Green gave her. Perhaps it was that Prof. Green hadn't come yet.

Lauren walked into the Hospital Wing with the sole intention of finding Cass and apologising to her. She really felt awful about the damage she inflicted to her friend, not once but twice throughout the game. Lauren sighed heavily as she walked over to the girl.

Lauren noticed that Samantha was there with her, and she smiled at the seeker who had won the match for their team.

Lauren coughed nervously. "Hey, Cass. Hey Sam," she said smiling despite feeling sick to her stomach.

"I'm real sorry about all of this," she said gesturing to her injuries. "I really didn't want to be a beater! How do you feel?"

Lauren looked at the other students in the Wing and noticed that the majority were Quidditch players from yesterday's game. She saw Mary, Jennifer, Jasmeet and then she saw Harmony. Lauren had fired a bludger in the dying moments of the game towards the opposing seeker as well. Lauren blushed at the damage she caused. Damn stupid beaters!

Mary was still sitting on the bed, holding her leg. She unrolled it, like Sam said before, but it didn't seem to her it was any better.
The Slytherin smiled at Lauren who just walked in and at Jas who just woke up. She felt a little sorry for Lauren, who wanted to play so much, but had to sit through most of the game.

Tristyn burst into the Hospitals Wing at a run. What the bloody hell were they thinking making eleven year old girls play Quidditch? Had the Headmistress lost all her marbles?

I swear to Salazar if anything happens to her I'll-

Too late, he realized how he must look to the young witches recovering from various injuries. Their evil Charms Professor, anxious and disheveled, running into the Hospital Wing as though crazed. He might as well have the words "CONCERNED FATHER" emblazoned on his robes.

His gaze swept the room once, twice, and thrice for good measure. Composing himself, he said as calmly as he could. "I'm looking for Professor Green, has anyone seen her?" He knew there was still a slight tremor in his voice but he hoped the witches would be too dazed to notice.

Lauren looked up from Cass's bedside as the Charms Professor rushed into the Hospital Wing at a run. He looked extremely agitated for some reason and she watched as he glanced around room frantically, as if he was looking for someone. Lauren raised an eyebrow at the scene but chose not to mention it.

At his question, Lauren looked back at him, wondering why his voice sounded funny. "No, Professor. She was here a while ago, but she must have left."

Managing a sigh, Cass said succintly, "It won't be much of a try, but I will."

Knowing Cass, she could've had all the evasiveness in the world, and still be dead on the pitch in a matter of seconds. "You comfortable?" she asked to Sam, too aware of her presence to notice she was sliding slowly off the bed. "Yo, Mary, you want to come and join the slumber party over here. Hospital Wing, holla!"

    Hospital Wing.
    Wait.
    What.

Cass jumped up, as quick as one could. Blubbering nonsense to Samantha, you could almost discern the words "I can't be in the Hospital Wing," and the famous, "I think I'm going to be sick..."

"Thank you, Ms. Potter, I shall seek her elsewhere," Tristyn replied hurriedly before striding out of the room, trying his best to make his movements appear normal.

It could have been worse, a lot worse. She was safe and that was his priority. Maybe he should go see the Potion Mistress anyway and inconspicuously ask for some Calming Drought. If not for the girl than certainly some for himself.

Mary jumped up, startled by the arrival of professor Malfoy. But then the pain overcame her and she slowly sat back down and shook her head as an answer to his question. She wished professor Green would come soon, too.
She heard what Cass said and grinned. It was just like her to want to have a slumber party in here and not knowing where she was, really.
"Cass, you okay?" she asked concerned when her friend became all pale and said was going to be sick.

"No I'm not alright!" she barked back at Lauren's and Mary's innocent asking. Her hands were shaking, and going in the direction of the corridor, Cass fled. Or rather, hobbled, with great feebleness.

Infact, if it wasn't her doing the hobbling, she would have surmised it would've been pretty funny.
To the girls' bathroom! she thought, all the while thinking of all of those beds, in lines...

    UGH.

Cass must have been prety delusional, she barked at Lauren instead of Mary. The Syltherin didn't blame her for wanting to snap at her, it was after all, a very stupid question.
"Sam, help her to the bathroom, please, or she'll puke in here." she said to her fellow Slytherin, seeing as Cass was in such a bad condition and Mary couldn't possibly walk fast enough.
