    Charades Empty Charades

Post by Guest Sat 21 Aug 2010, 00:52

Dixie crawled up the last flight of stairs, a bit annoyed and worn out. Those stairs had been switching and moving everywhere, she had gotten lost and confused. Pushing her glasses up her nose-again, she opened a door, the entrance to the seventh floor.
Calling out to no one, really, she said "Er... Sir Nick? Nearly Headless? Are you there?"

Harmony bounced up the stairs quietly, seeing Dixie standing there with the door open. So, this was where they were going to meet to play the game? She smirked to herself as she tiptoed up behind Dixie and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Yo Dix!" She exclaimed, laughing at the same time.

Cass appeared from behind Harmony, "Dixie, seriously don't go looking for that Nick, he's a lot more trouble than he's worth!" she laughed.
"How're things, you guys? You up to anything?"

Cass took a look around the floor she was on. She hadn't been up here before, she was sure.

    Harmony grinned at Cass.

"Hello Cass! Dixie has a bucket list, and I'm helping her with it. We decided to play Charades with a ghost, and that's why we're looking for Nearly Headless Nick." She explained, nodding her head. "It'll be a lot of fun!"

"Brill! We both have one, actually, you'll have t' come and help me with mine some time soon, too. Nearly Headless Nick, though? We have an unspoken, eh, aversion to each other, not that I'm sure about that," she laughed, "ever since he neglected to tell me he couldn't catch me in that first DADA lesson, I've stayed away from him. The Fat Friar's always good for a laugh though, so if Nick doesn't come by, the Friar would be a good plaything," she offered.

"Really?" She asked, thinking about it. "That'd be pretty cool. Just as long as Dixie's bucket list gets done. And I'll help you with yours too, Cass. Just say the word and I'm there. I don't think I have a bucket list, but I don't really need one I suppose. I guess I could make one sometime."

Dixie chirped "You really should! It's loads of fun making, and MUCH more fun when you try to go and complete it. So anyways, I wonder if we tried going on a ghost hunt, perhaps Sir Nick might pop up and play the game with us! Besides, if he doesn't come around, we can always find another ghost...."

"Hullo there, ladies of the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses! Word on the grapevine is you've been calling for me,"

Cass spun around to see, much to her slight discomfort, Nearly-Headless Nick. "You alright there Nicky? You do know your head's on sideways, right?" She laughed. What a way to get at him. Shame it wasn't really.

Nick pulled a dark look when he tried to right himself. "So, miladies, what is it that you are needing?"

Dixie stared. She had never really seen a ghost at all-on a glimpse or two when trying to find her classes, but she really didn't know what to say.
Clearing her throat, she said politely "Well, we were wondering whether or not you'd like to play a game of charades with us. We made a bucket list and... Playing Charades with a ghost was on there."
