Professor Ophelia Green's Office Empty Professor Ophelia Green's Office

The resident Potions Professor had a very pink office. The walls had vertical light pink and magenta stripes wallpapered on.

All of her furniture was painted white. Some, if not most, had paint slightly chipped off.

Mirrors and portraits adorned the walls. All the portraits were vacant of residents. Well, all except one, which was a portrait of a blonde woman with slightly high eyebrows. The woman, however, didn't move because the original was very much alive.

Sitting below her own portrait was Ophelia Green, grading papers.

    Two chairs face her desk.

Lauren had never been to the dungeons apart from Potions class, for she had no real reason to go. She did however have a reason today and walked with purpose to the Potions master's office. She did not like the idea of running into any Slytherins down here, knowing that their commonroom was around here somewhere.

Lauren made it undetected to the office of Professor Green and knocked on the door hoping she was in; for the idea of making this trip again seemed daunting.

Raven frowned as he looked at the scrap of parchment in his hand. It had been a farewell note from Lawr. Growling, he stormed to his Head of House's office and knocked. He looked surprised seeing a Gryffindor here. What was a lion doing in the snake pit? Voluntarily too at that? Crossing his arms, he raised a brow. He really wanted to ask her what she was doing here. Instead, he turned to his professor. "Prof, should I wait outside while you speak with, Lauren?"

Samantha entered Professor Green’s office only to see that Raven was already there. A small smile started on her lips but it died down when she heard him speak. There was a Gryffindor here too?

And not just any Gryffindor, it was the one playing Healer at the hospital wing. A Healer who apparently stirred a simple pepper up potion so much, it would lose any of it’s healing qualities. Samantha wondered why the girl had been given such a position; she was clearly biased in her healing and didn’t think much of Slytherins - not a good trait for a future healer.

Judging by the tone in Raven’s voice, he shared the view. Waiting for Professor Green to answer, she decided that she too would step out if the Gryffindor wanted to speak to the Potion Mistress about the infirmary.

Ophelia's head snapped up when the Gryffindor girl appeared. She smiled, "How may I help you?"

That was when Raven Drake came in. At his question, Ophelia was about to answer when yet another student entered her pink office.

"Please one at a time, unless you have the same question." She gestured for the Slytherins to sit on the two chairs facing her desk. She turned to Lauren Potter, the Gryffindor who had entered first, and gestured for Lauren to follow her a little closer to the door, where they all entered, for privacy reasons.

Lauren looked at saw that Raven Drake and Samantha Quill had also appeared at the Potions Master's office. Lauren smiled at Raven as he looked at her quizzically, and then remembered that she was supposed to meet up with someone in the Library for a study session and time got away from her. Lauren thought that her question was so trivial to bother the Head of Slytherin at the moment with, especially since she had two students wanting her attention, so she decided to leave without asking her.

"So sorry to have wasted your time, Professor. I really have to dash," Lauren said, as she quickly walked out of the room.

Raven arched a brow as Lauren left then shrugged. He turned to his Head of House and sighed. "Prof Green, I just wanted to let you know that Lawr left Hogwarts. So, you can take him off the roster for Potions. I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon. That's how his letter sounded anyways."

Dimitri stood calmly outside the Professors office, raising his hand to knock upon the door. Seeking out the extra work was beginning to be tiring, but he knew he needed to continue. Fortunately, this was the last class he needed to do it for. He opened the door, peering in. "Excuse me, Professor? I need to ask you about extra work to make up for the classes I have missed."

"Very well noted. Thank you Raven." Professor Green smiles but it's not a sincere one. She was a little more than annoyed at the fact that Lawrence abandoned Slytherin.

She shooed Raven away, not seeing if he left or not and turned to the new comer. "Ah. Well, just do your homework assignments that you have two days to finish. And find someone t let you borrow their notes on the first lesson. Please read through them. We will be having a mid term in a few days and you can't use your notes to help you." She winks.

He inclined his head slowly, a smile on his lips. Why did it not surprise him that the Slytherin Professor was the most oganised of them? "Thank you, Professor."

He quickly scribbled down her instructions, and then put his parchment away. He did not want to waste her time, as he could see she had organised it very carefully, so he turned away and made his way for the door once more. A quick visit to the Professors office was often a good one.

Just as Mary made her way down to professor's office, Dimitri was leaving it. She smiled at him and wanted to chat, but there was no time. The animals needed her.
With a small knock she presented herself and then waited for professor Green to call her in. She didn't know whether there was anybody else in there, so it seemed better she waits.
She just realized she still had wet hair and a towel in her hand, so she dried her hair once again (unsuccesfully, though) and put the towel back in her bag.

The girl was waiting for so long in the cold dungeons, her wet hair seemed to freeze. Well, to Mary it seemed since she was shaking cold. She wrapped a towel around her hair, but it didn't do any good. She got up from her sitting position and knocked again. Maybe the professor didn't hear her the first time.

Ophelia noticed the shivering girl and felt so guilty. "Yes Mary?" Ophelia asked her Slytherin student and one of her best (O+), trying to give her her fullest attention.

Poor girl had been waiting there for a while. Her wave of guilt just got even stronger.

Mary smiled at the professor and quickly took the towel off her head. She looked like she'd be wearing a turban and she thought it weird and didn't want to appear like that in front of her Head of House.
"Erm.. I was just wondering if you have any potions that could heal an animal?" she asked in a small voice. "See, a bunch of us have been diving in the lake and we found injured Plimpies..." she said quietly, hoping professor Green will be understanding about this.
