    Relaxing Empty Relaxing

Post by Guest Thu 29 Jul 2010, 10:57

Hilary sat down near the edge of the lake. It was nice out, and she had decided to spend her evening out there. And besides, soon enough, it would be far too cold to be outside. She liked the snow, but sitting in it in her down time didn't seem like something enjoyable.

She pulled a borrowed library book from her bag and started to read. She needed inspiration, and she was hoping she might find something in the book.

Theresa stormed out onto the grounds, she couldn't believe the nerve of that Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. She stopped when she saw Hilary, she looked back at the forest but shook her head. She smiled and went to the lake where her friend was. She hoped that she would calm down soon, she just needed some fresh air. It was too late to do anything now, with all the Professors wondering around.

Hilary looked up when she heard someone approaching her. It turned out to be Resa, who looked rather upset about something. Usually her Hufflepuff friend was difficult to upset, but something was definitely bothering her.

"What's wrong?" she asked, motioning for Theresa to sit down next to her and placing her book aside.

Theresa sighed as she sat down "nothing really, just had an argument with this Ravenclaw who couldn't mind her own business" she said. "Maybe you guys are right, I am too stuborn" she said, remembering all the times that her three closest friends had called her stuborn. "How have you been... I am not bothering you am I?" she asked when she saw a book beside her friend.

Hilary frowned. She hated that term. It was never 'nothing' because 'nothing' wouldn't bother people so much. She didn't get why people just didn't talk about what was bothering them. Though she was probably guilty of it too.

"What was the argument about?" she asked, hoping her friend wouldn't think she was prying.

"You're not bothering me," she said, waving a dismissing hand at the book. "I was just looking for inspiration for..." She paused. Who knew who was listening in on their conversation? "For what we were talking about last night."

Theresa nodded "that is basically what the argument was about, I wanted to go find some werewolves of centaurs and she decided that she just had to stop me" she said annoyed. "It ended with me getting cursed and a Hufflepuff girl and the Ravenclaw girl calling me thick and stuff and the Hufflepuff girl wishing I was in a different house which I wish too" she said.

"What business would it be of theirs?" she asked, frowning. "If you wanted to go off into the forest, why should they care? Especially not the Ravenclaw girl. It's not like you would lose points for her house." Then she thought of something. "Wait. Did you say you got cursed? How?"

Theresa rolled her eyes as she thought of the arguement "exactly, it was nothing to do with her and because of my stubborness and idioticy, there are two girls who hate me, I hate argueing with people" she said. She waved her hand "just a body bind curse" she said.

Even though Resa had waved the whole thing off, Hilary had a hard time letting go the fact that her friend had been cursed. "I'm pretty sure that's not allowed. Maybe you should go to your head of house."

She didn't want to push it to much. As Theresa had said, she was stubborn. If she wanted to, she would. If not, she wouldn't.

"So," she said, changing the topic. "What was this gossip about Nick Hale and company?"

Shelby was sick of studying and doing homework so she decided to go out for a walk. She automatically headed down to the lake as if she was on autopilot. When she got there, she saw some of her friends, which didn't surprise her at all.

"You got cursed?" Shelby asked in surprise as she joined Theresa and Hilary by the lake. "What happened?"

"It's nothing, I just had an arguement because I am so stubborn" she said to Shelby. She turned to Hilary "it is mostly because they were being witches and wizards that were better than any other, they werr part werewolf, part veela, some were vampires, one was a super warrier and they tried to attack a Slytherin and that" she said.

Hilary raised her eyebrows at what her friend had said about Nick Hale and his friends. It was any wonder they were expelled. Pretending to be horrible creatures and super powerful. And if that wasn't bad enough, attacking someone completely innocent.

"Well," she said, not knowing what else she could say. "That's cool."

Theresa laughed "that's one way to put it, they also almost killed someone apparently, one of their own group by being a werewolf or something" she explained. She suddenly grinned "there, that is all my best gossip, next time, you guys have to find stuff out yourself" she said jokingly. "I have to do all the hard work for these gossip sessions" she joked as she leaned back on the grass.

"Resa only knows all of this because her sister was friends with the psychopaths," Shelby said to Hilary as she laughed. "I keep telling her that she no longer has any right to call Indiana crazy since her own sister is clearly ten times more insane than he is," she stretched her arms over her head as she spoke.

"I'll do my best," Hilary said, pretending to be very serious and placing a hand over her heart.

She laughed and relaxed, leaning back on her hands. "It's not our fault that you're better connected and nosier than we are. I honestly don't know how you manage to find all of this stuff out."

She turned to Shelby. "I've never really though of Indiana as crazy," she mused. "A bit strange maybe. But not overly crazy. He's not turning into a werewolf, anyway."

Theresa pretended to glare at Shelby "how many times do I have to say, you cant choose who you are related too" she said before sticking her tongue out at her. She laughed at what Hilary said about Indiana "yea, compaired to most people he is just strange and I am not that nosy" she said, crossing her arms, pretending to huff at the very idea.
