Walking..

Harmony sighed as she walked around the lake. She kicked at some rocks near the shore, muttering to herself. This was just great. She and Cass had lost so many points for Ravenclaw, and there was no telling how Indiana felt! Why did she have to be so curious?

"I'm so glad I haven't seen Will lately," she muttered. "he would kill me and glare at my dead body."

Lauren was walking down the lake when she spotted a girl walking around it too. Lauren didn't recognize her immediately, but thought that she knew the girl for some reason. Lauren ran to catch up with her and then realized that the girl was a Ravenclaw that she shared some of her classes with. Lupin, rang a bell.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Lauren. I hope you don't mind me interrupting. I just don't remember meeting you, but I've seen you in my classes before." Lauren stopped talking. She rambled a lot.

"Hm?" Harmony turned toward the girl and smiled. "Oh yes, hi! It's nice to meet you Lauren. I've seen you in most of my classes, yes. I'm Harmonious. Just Harmony though because well, Harmonious is a bit of a mouthful." She laughed. "You weren't interrupting much, I promise. Just a little session of beating myself up."

Lauren smiled. "It's a long name, that's for sure. But I think it's a beautiful name. Better than Lauren anyway." Lauren said, liking the fact that she didn't interrupt the girl.

"I hope you weren't being serious about beating yourself up." She said to the girl. "And I hope you don't mind me walking with you. It's just that you were alone, is all. Feel free to tell me to leave. I won't mind." Lauren smiled once more.

"Yes...I guess it is a beautiful name," Harmony mused. "Lauren is a beautiful one too! It's a name that fits you well."

She smiled. "I don't mind at all. Walking with friends, as well as meeting new people is the best way to get over things. Besides, it's more of an...internal beating up process. I won't actually hit myself." She answered, grinning.

Lauren grinned at the girl. She liked her, that was immediately apparent.

"Thank you. I guess it's an alright name." Lauren put her hands behind her back as they walked. "I heard about what happened with Indiana, Cassi and you. That's pretty rough... But at least you didn't lose 100 points for Ravenclaw only 50! That's a bonus!"

Harmony nodded.

"Well, I guess it's my fault for being so curious and then not telling anyone. Indiana could've been more careful too, but those towers are vacant, so I guess he figured it would be safe." She explained. "Theresa and I lost ten points a few days ago in the library too. It was worth it though."

She laughed happily.

Lauren nodded. When the other girls and Lauren had decided on bungee jumping from a vacant tower, they did not expect to get caught either.

Lauren smiled, remembered Resa telling her about Harmony and her parchment war. "I heard that you won the war! Congratulations!" Lauren said to the girl. Lauren was glad that she had finally met the girl the Resa was forever mentioning. "Resa has told me a great deal about you. All good. Don't worry!" Lauren said with a smile. "I am sorry that I didn't meet you before. It is a shame, really. I think we could be good friends." Lauren smiled once more at the Ravenclaw.

"Will you have to sit in the shame corner?" Lauren asked her. "At least Professor Williams cannot give you a crazy punishment!" Lauren said, thinking about Harmony's last punishment and the one that she had given Will.

Harmony grinned.

"Theresa is a force to be reckoned with, for sure. She's a great fighter, and I'm a bit surprised I won." Harmony said laughing. "Talking about me? Well, I'm glad it's all good then! Good friends it is then. You'll have to join us next time when we play. We're hoping for it to become a big thing, but we haven't talked to the Headmistress yet."

Harmony blinked slightly. "The Shame corner? Well, I've forgotten all about that. And Will isn't around much anymore so...I'll just forget about it again!" She laughed.

Lauren laughed with the girl. "I wish Jasmeet could be more forgetful about the Gryffindor punishments! She is like a hawk in that she knows whenever a Gryffindor breaks a rule. I have had to do three loads of dishes because I've been caught. But she is as lenient as ever, bless her. It was so fantastic to be in charge of her punishment. Don't tell her that, but I secretly loved watching her clean all of those trophies."

Lauren smiled, "I won't mention anything to Will to jog his memory. I heard that he was sick, but you'd know more about that than me, seeing as though you're in his house."

Harmony nodded.

"Sick as a dog, unfortunately. He barely made it through Transfiguration. I thought I was going to help him because he looked so close to collapsing." Harmony said, a little worried. "I'm sure he's in his dorm now, fighting off the flu. I saw that you were in charge of Jazz's punishment."

Harmony laughed. "I probably would have secretly enjoyed it as well!"

Lauren nodded. "Poor Will. Perhaps someone should bring him some chicken soup. That is what my mother always gave me when I was sick. It made me feel better for some reason." Lauren looked up to the sky, enjoying feeling the breeze and sunlight against her skin.

"It sure is nice today." She told the girl.

Harmony looked over at Lauren before looking up to the sky.

"Yes... 'Everyone must have felt that a cheerful friend is like a sunny day, which sheds its brightness on all around; and most of us can, as we choose, make of this world either a palace or a prison.'" She recited.

She laughed. "So I guess I should make this world a palace instead of a prison, for beating myself up over points," she remarked.

Lauren liked the poem that Harmony had recited, "That's beautiful. Did you write that?" She asked.

Lauren nodded. "That is true though. Points are not the be all and end all. Besides, we have a Quidditch game next week. Perhaps we can earn some points back that way... Though, I don't see how seeing as though the teams are of mixed houses. Who knows!?"

Harmony laughed. "Nah, that wasn't one of mine. Mine could never be that good no matter how hard I try." She said, grinning. "Understandable. However, I'll just have to see if I can earn some points in classes. I think Ravenclaw might still be winning, but I can't be too sure."
