"May felt the need to be direct and straight to the point before she thinks I'll do something foolish that I might regret." Indiana replied. "No thanks to the workload from the classes, I hadn't had time to look up information on Euphemia. The surname, however, is the oldest known name of Great Britain. Other than that, nothing else."
"Anyways, check this out." Indiana spoke before showing Shelby a sheet of parchment that read:
Dear Indiana,
Hello, little brother. I received your letters and decoded them but didn't have the chance to write back until now. Oh, do lighten up a bit and add some enthusiasm next time you write, even in code. Your letter sounded a bit robotic and I don't know whether or not you're doing well behind the apparent air of boredom!
While I can understand that concern in your letter, it would be wise to weigh the benefits and liabilities. This isn't Splinter Cell and I'm beginning to think that those games are having a bad influence on you, Mr. I-want-to-be-like-Sam-Fisher.
That package you sent in your second letter was very interesting but I think I'll leave it in your room until the break. Just remember that school is more than just an institution for education. It is also a place for you to socialize and making friends. I know that I sound like Nonette but I can't deny the validity of her points. Of course, she's right behind me now, asking me to tell you not to be a Hikikomori while at school.
Anyways, Nonette and I will definitely be staying home during the winter break. Will you be heading home during that time?
Love,
May
