Alex looked around the classroom and felt a bit of envy at those who were levitating their feathers with such ease. 'time to make others envy me too.' she thought as she walked up to the box of feathers. after studying each feather carefully, she decided on a long, thin one, which according to her had the most chance of levitating.

"Wingardium Leviosa" nothing happened. After sometime, she decided to focus on the concept of rest and motion and after a few tries, she finnaly got it right. Alex smirked as she went up to her homework.

    Homework

    1. What is the charm for today? Wingardium Leviosa, the levitation charm

    2. What object was being bounced around earlier? A muggle basketball.

    3. What is the key points of Physics? Making an object in motion turn its state to rest, and an object at rest to the state of movement.

    4. How does physics apply to charms? Charms is the external force that we use to change the state of an object, the same is studied in physica but using muggle principles.

    5. What is the incantation of todays charm? Wingardium Leviosa.

Hailey walks into the room, sits down, and listens to what the professor has to say. The professor finishes and Hailey tries to do the charm. Hailey walked to the front of the room and got a feather and says to herself,"Swish and flick, got it." She points her wand at the feather did the movements and said,"Wingardium Leviosa," and nothing happend. She tried it again does the movements and says,"Wingardium Leviosa," still nothing. She looks around and sees that there are only ten other people that havn't done it yet, including her. She says to herself,"O.K., last time, I hope I can do it." Again, she does the movements and says,"Wingardium Leviosa!" The feather finally flew up. She yells,"YES!" Everyone turned around and looked at her. She says,"Sorry," and silently laughs at herself. Then she starts her homework.

    Homework:

    1. What is the charm for today? The charm for today is the levitation charm.

    2. What object was being bounced around earlier? We were bouncing aroud the Muggle Basketball.

    3. What are the key points of Physics? The keypoints of Physics are make and object in motion rest and make an object at rest to move.

    4. How does physics apply to charms? Physics applies to charms by, physics and charms both are about making objects move. Though charms does it with magic.

    5. What is the incantation of todays charm? The incantation of todays charm was Wingardium Leviosa.

Loey had heard of the spell before and wanted to try it out. First she tried it and it didn't work. "Oh" and then She did it again making care on her swish and flick, and making sure she had said the incantation properly. Finally, the feather was levating and Loey had a smile on her face.

Wingardium Leviosa. It is the charm we use to make things levitate.

    2. What object was being bounced around earlier? A small muggle basketball.

    3. What is the key points of Physics? The key point of physics is making an object in motion rest and an object at rest to move.

    4. How does physics apply to charms? The same idea applies to the charm as physics as both are making something move.

    5. What is the incantation of todays charm? Wingardium Leviosa.

    Lesson One has been closed.

Professor Williams looked at her students with a wide grin on her face. It had gone rather well for their first class and she was considerably happy. Her next lesson would start soon so she ushered her young students out of the classroom and set to work, grading.
