Kaitlyn pulled on her gloves as she waited for the class to arrive, she was going to teach them all together for flying. Hey they might think it was weird to have the same professor for HoM and Flying but she really did enjoy flying and loved to share it with others.

There were enough brooms on the ground for everyone, but she was going to pair them up to hopefully have at least one of them listening to instructions.

She pulled out the list of pairs, hopefully they all got along and enjoyed themselves.

    Tsuki Zabini - Raven Drake
    Harmony Lupin - Lawrence Clay
    Rebecca Null - Dixie Evans
    Matti Betts - Jen Davis
    Alex Lovegood - Lauren Potter
    Skye Phantomhive - Alice Caelum
    Vanessa Lopez - Samantha Quill
    Jasmeet Kaur - Hilary Ayres
    Aubrianna Thomas - Alexandra Black
    Catherine Black - Yuki Cross
    Alexandria Black - Jennifer Lupin
    Mary McNeely - Carlee Raven
    Will Black - Reina Nox

"Alright Class. Everyone Find your partners, and if your partner doesn't show up just wait patiently and if another person doesn't have theirs either you will be pared but if there is an odd number then there will be a group of 3." She grinned. She couldn't wait to get started.

Reina saw she was paired with Will, again, and groaned softly. Even at school the teachers were putting them together. This was at least the second time they had been put together, and she wondered how many more times they would be put together. She sighed, looking around for Will as she moved to the place where she had to be. At least she got along with him, for now.

Raven seeing who his partner was also groaned. He met Tsuki on the train and she had chimed in with acting odd on Dixie's plan to make him uncomfortable. Going to where he was instructed, he crossed his arms and waited to see if she'd show up, or was one of the students that had been skipping classes.

Will stared blankly at the pairing list, his eye twitching ever so slightly. He wondered if Professor Lewis had it out for him or something, or she was just a natural psychic for drama. After the rather awkward conversation with Reina a couple days ago, he couldn't find a suitable way to alleviate it without the idea of marriage banging around his head.

Half-shrugging in defeat, he pulled up a strained smile as he found Reina a little ways off. "Hey, Reina." He said as he finally reached her.

Reina looked up. "Hey Will." One look at him told her he was thinking the same thing she was. "Did you hear from your grandmother yet?" She asked softly. She figured he hadn't, given the way he looked at her, but she so hoped his grandmother outright rejected her father's proposal so that she and Will would never have to speak about this again. The sooner they knew, the better.

He eyed and kicked a bit of dirt, trying best to answer. It was hard to look at her these days without his insides icing over in horror. "I've yet to hear from her," Will finally said. "She may not have liked my letter to her. The most I'll expect from an answer back is her tirade on my lack of manners. However, she doesn't seem to be like a crazy old hag in my experience of living with her. She knows I'm only a child."

Reina let out a long sigh of relief. "Good. The sooner this is over the better I can sleep at night. And I'm assuming you as well." She crossed her arms and looked away. "Although I'm afraid my father won't give in so easily." She muttered under her breath. She shook her head, she shouldn't bring it up, it wasn't either of them a bit of good to talk about it.

"Uh-huh," Will only ended the subject on that note. Out of sight, out of mind. He didn't want to think anymore on the topic. "Oi, Professor Lewis, let's get this shindig started already! I want to start flying now!"

Right now, all he wanted was to do what he was hoping to do so far. And that was to fly. Nothing more freer than that. It beats homework any day of the week.

Yuki was both exited and scared about learning how to fly, hopefully she was going to be better at this than the other types of sports shed tried before. She looked at the list and saw that she was paired up with Catherine Black. Yuki glanced around the group of students for her but it didnt look like she was here yet, so Yuki stood there waiting for her to turn up.

Alex was really excited about learning how to fly but she was still a little nervous that she would make a full of herself. She looked down the list to find her name and she saw she was paired with Lauren Potter. She looked around to see if she was there yet but Alex couldn't find her so she stood to the side waiting for her.

Cat grinned at the list. She was with someone she knew. Cat looked around and spotted the Gryffindor. She skipped up, bouncing, excited to get into the air. "Hey there Yuki!" she chirruped, feeling inordinately cheerful, "Excited?"

Hilary couldn't wait to start flying. She had been looking forward to this since it had first been announced that they would be given flying lessons. But she couldn't find her partner anywhere. She must not have arrived yet.

She moved to the side of the field, away from the others. There, she would be out of the way until Jasmeet arrived.

Rebecca looked around for Dixie. They got along just fine and it would make for a wonderful flying lesson. Rebecca couldn't wait to get into the air but she was also a little scared. She had never touched a broom before. Her older siblings wouldn't even take her up when she was young. Other Pureblood students had to have been on a broom before. She hoped she wasn't made fun of.

Vanessa stood there awkwardly, hoping that it was all a nightmare. She couldn't believe that she was going to be mounting one of those accidents waiting to happen. She was hardly coordinated on ground-she tripped twice on the way there- how could they expect her to not run into a tower or tree while up in the air? "This isn't happening..."
She fiddled her fingers, her shyness appearing at last. Despite hating the idea of flying with only a stick of wood between yourself and the very hard ground, she was glad she had a good partner.

Dixie was a tad bit nervous about flying on a broom. She wasn't afraid of heights or anything; for her, that was just silly. Dixie was actually afraid of falling off fifty feet in the air, landing on her head, breaking her arm/leg/wrist/ankle, and dying on the way to theHosputal Wing.
Looking around for Rebecca, Dixie spotted her, and called out cheerfully "Oi, Rebecca! Ready to fly and not die?"

Bri walked down to the pitch to report for her flying lessons. She looked at the sheet that the flying instructor had posted with the list of partners on it. Bri saw that she was partnered with Alex Black. At least they had met before, and she seemed like a really nice girl.

Bri stepped back with a broom in her hand and looked around for Alex. She obviously wasn't here yet, or if she was Bri just couldn't spot her. So she waited patiently for her partner to arrive so they could begin learning how to fly. This could be disasterous.

Alexandra walked out onto the Qudditch pitch, eager to begin flying. Scanning the list, she saw she was partnered with Bri Thomas. She had met Bri before and she was really nice, so she was glad she had gotten a good partner. Grabbing a broom, Alex glanced through the crowd for Bri. "Hey!" she called, spotting her, and trying to get through the mass of first years.

Finally Bri heard some one call out hey and she turned around to see Alex. Good, she was hoping she showed up. Bri hadn't wanted to be paired with somebody she didn't atleast know a little first. Bri walked over to where Alex was pushing her way through the crowd of first years and waited on her until she was close enough to here Bri without her having to shout.

"Hi partner." Bri said smiling. "You ready for this? What exactly are we supposed to be doing anyways?" Bri asked laughing.

"Black." Kaitlyn said and motioned for him to come over to her. "You want to get started do you?" she asked him. "I'm going to have you demonstrate a few things for me then." she said with a sweet smile. "But half the class is still gone. Tell me Black do you know anything about brooms or flying?" she asked.

Skye loved flying. She really did. What she hated, however, was waiting. It annoyed her beyond belief that she was missing out on the flying lesson because she was to wait for her partner. She can't exactly blame her partner either, but... dear gods did it upset her.

"Alice, where are you?" she mumbled.

Will regarded his professor with his own sweet smile, the idea of flying setting him into a more relaxed and comfortable mood. "Of course, Professor. I've rode on one multiple times at home. I've played a bit of Quidditch too. I understand a bit of the different racing brooms out on the market and a bit on the history on the creation of a suitable broom as well."

Reina crossed her arms and smirked, listening to Will. This class was going to be easy for both of them, from the Will sounded. Good, the faster they got threw the class the sooner they could go back to awkwardly avoiding each other. She listened intently to see what Professor Lewis was going to have them do.

Surprised to find that she was paired with someone she knew... somewhat, Samantha made her way to the Gryffindor who looked at least as nervous as the Slytherin felt.

"Hey Nessa,' she said quietly to the girl standing a few feet away. She had clearly not seen Samantha approaching due to nerves. Samantha wished she could help but she had her own butterflies to deal with. Trying for a smile, she reached for her hand, attempting to reassure the girl at least a little.

Jen looked around for her partner. She was a bit nervous, she still hadn't met too many friends at Hogwarts yet, and now she had to be paired up with someone. Hopefully this person was nice. "Think positive," she scolded herself quietly. Everything would be fine, she was finally going to start flying lessons and she loved Quidditch. There was no need to be nervous. Now all she needed to do was find her partner and then they could get started!

Jasmeet looked around for her partner; she had never met the girl, but had heard about her, that was for sure.

As she looked around, she saw Will and Reina paired together, and smiled, oh well, and walked towards them. "Hey, sorry to interrupt, but do you guys know Hilary Ayres?"
