Reina pushed back the door to the room of requirement and shut it behind her. The darkened room was lit with candles whose wax ran like blood. It resembled the crypt chapel of an old cathedral. The walls and floor were stone and at the far end of the room was an old stone fireplace. Reina picked up one of the candleholders and made her way across the room to one of the black and red velvet couches near the fireplace. They were shaped like coffins and she reclined across it. One top of the fireplace were several books, their titles in Latin, and several more books were piled on the raised slab between the couches. The slab also contained blood pops and dark grape juice in old fashion wine goblets.
She eagerly took a blood pop and moved one of the goblets closer to her, leafing through one of the books. Irish meowed, curling up on her lap. She petted him as she gazed over the pages of the book. "Perfect." She thought to herself, taking a sip of the grape juice.
She picked up her diary from the floor and turned it to a fresh page. She wrote slowly, sucking on a blood pop as she wrote. Her stomach growled and she noticed Chinese food on the slab. She chuckled to herself, putting her diary down and grabbing the food. She could get used to this.
