    Book Fortress Empty Book Fortress

Post by Guest Fri 20 Aug 2010, 14:00

Theresa skipped into the library, smiling to herself. She had been talking to Harmony and got a great idea from her. She skipped over to the creaturee section of the library and was practically bouncing with excitement as she looked over the books. She hah already had quite a few plates of sugar sticks that day and was feeling silly and wanted to do something.

She picked out all her favourite books in the creatures section which ended up being a lot and made a small book fortress around her in the corner. She sat down and began to read as she hummed to herself.

Harmony peered in the library to see Theresa with a fortress around her. She grinned to herself as she tiptoed quietly to the plant section. She made quick work of the books, situating herself in a little burrowing corner so she could see where Theresa was reading. Pulling out a piece of parchment, she scribbled a note on it before tossing it at Theresa, giggling as she did so.

The parchment war is on! -Captain Harmonious Lupin, Leader of Fort Herbology.

Theresa read through a page about Hippogriffs and smiled at the thought of being able to get so close to actually be able to bow to it. She looked up, surprised when she felt something hit the top of her head. She noticed a piece of parchment and unfolded it, grinning as she read it. She looked around the library and laughed when she saw Harmony in the plant section.

Prepare to lose!~ Captain Theresa Cotgrave, Leader of fort dragon fire

Harmony peered over the edge of her book fortress when a ball of parchment hit her in the forehead. She fell back into her fortress dramatically.

"I've been hit!" She cried. "This means war!"

She crumbled up three balls of parchment, throwing them over to Theresa's fortress.

"Enjoy those cannonballs of doom!" She exclaimed, laughing. "They shall lower your shields, and then your precious fortress shall be mine Captain Cotgrave!"

Theresa giggled when she managed to hit Harmony. She watched as she flew the parchment and used a book to block her face. She felt one of them hit the book and looked back at Harmony. "Oh it is so on!" she called to her as she took some parchment from her bag. "Take that Captain Lupin!" she said as she threw two balls of parchment at her.

"Aiee!" Harmony exclaimed, ducking from one of the parchment balls. She smacked another back over to Theresa using a book.

"Homerun! And the crowd goes wild for Captain Lupin! Ah thank you!" She said, waving to an invisible crowd. "That's how you do it, Captain Cotgrave! Let's see you handle this!"

Harmony crumbled two or three parchments papers together and tossed it over. "Super mega cannon ball of killer destruction!"

Theresa gasped dramatically when the ball of parchment that was hit back landed in her fort. "A breach! my fortress has been contaminated!" she exclaimed before quickly picking it up and throwing it in the air. She hit it like a volley ball and watched as it flew back to Harmony.
"In comming!" she shouted as she saw more parchment, one of the balls of parchment hit one of the books of her fort.

"You will pay for this Captain Lupin!" she threatened as she shook her fists, trying not to laugh.

Harmony volleyed the parchment ball back over to Theresa's fort with her book once more.

"It'll take more than that to breach my defenses, Captain Cotgrave!" She exclaimed, laughing like a leader should. "I shan't pay for anything, my dear! But take this! A barrage of parchment cannon balls!"

Harmony threw parchment ball after parchment ball that she had made at Theresa's fort. It seemed like a never ending shower of paper balls.

Theresa grabbed the parchment and laughed as she put it down and reached for her parchment. "Oh yes you shall Captain Lupin, I will win this war!" she declared. "Take this" she said as she looked up, only to see balls after balls of parchment aim at her. "Ah! hit the deck!" she shouted as she jumped to the floor and threw as many of the pachment as she could when it fell.

Harmony ducked when the barrage of parchment balls came at her once more.

"All hands on deck! Ready the cannons! We shall not lose this war when we've come so far!" Harmony exclaimed, placing an origami Captain's hat on her head. "Bwahaha! Let's go!"

She crumpled up parchment together, lobbing super mega giant killing cannon balls of destruction over one by one, right after another.

    "Survive this barrage, Captain Cotgrave!"

Theresa saw the new parchment and quickly picked up the biggest book. "Quick, deffencive manovers!" she said as she tried to block the balls of parchment. She gasped dramatically when one of the books had actually fallen onto the floor. "We are hit, quick, before we sink" she said as she put it back hurriedly.

"No one destroys my ship and gets away with it Captain Lupin!" she shouted before she gathered all the parchment in her arms and threw them right at her and at the books of her ship.

Harmony ducked down as one of the parchment balls hit her Captain hat, knocking it off her head.

"No one touches the hat, Captain Cotgrave!" Harmony said, grabbing all the parchment that had landed in her nest. "Take this!"

She threw it all back, along with parchment balls of her own. She specifically threw them at Theresa's fort, hoping to knock more books down so she could lay siege to the fort, and get Captain Cotgrave to admit defeat! After throwing all her parchment balls, she grabbed her hat and put it back on her head. After all, a Captain is nothing without her cap.

Theresa ducked again when all the parchment balls came back at her. "Duck and cover, we are under attack!" she said as she grabbed a book and used it as a shield while throwing parchment back at the same time. "Your ship 'fort Herbology', shall be mine Captain Lupin" she called as she threw parchment at the same time as parchment was hitting her.

She gasped when a book on her side was hit "the lower desk is being destroyed, how dare you" she cried as she threw more parchment at her walls.

Harmony opened the book she was using as a shield, so it became an even bigger shield. She felt the parchment pelt the cover and back of the book as she called out an answer.

"Never Captain Cotgrave! Fort Herbology will never be destroyed! Itai! My right front, she is weak!" Harmony exclaimed, grabbing more books to reinforce the walls. "Take this!"

Harmony lobbed over more parchment, laughing as she did so. This was so much fun!

Theresa growled mockingly as she put her books back in the right places. She saw the parchment and tried to hit as many back as she could with her hands like volley balls again, only this time, in stead of like serving them, she just hit the with the flat palm of her hand.

"Fort Dragon Fire will not be taken down so easy" she called over to her. She grinned when she noticed that the walls didn't collapse again.

"I need reinforcements!" she said as she piled up more of the heaviest magical creature books with hard backs.

"And neither will Fort Herbology! Like plants, we shall have a long lasting life! I need more wall; she is looking so weak!" Harmony exclaimed, grabbing large tomes of Herbology facts and information before lugging them onto her wall. S

he threw more parchment balls over to Theresa, aiming for the Captain herself rather than the wall. After all, if the Captain was out, who would man the fort? The enemy of course!

Theresa laughed as she tried to protect herself against the on comming attack. She threw as many back as she could until one hit her in the arm. She clutched her arm and called out in agony "my arm, I think it is broken" she called before she began to pelt the parchment cannon balls with her one good arm.

Hearing some commotion from the corner of the Library, Professor Mitchell went to investigate what was going on. She was surprised to find Ms. Lupin and Ms. Cotgrave having a...war? In the Library?

"Excuse me, ladies? What in the world is going on here?" Professor Mitchell said sternly. "Ten points from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw for screaming and yelling in a Library. Now I suggest you either leave or start working on some classwork."
