Bradley, the dandy frog. Needs a few allies now...

"Yo, Bradley, I got a friend for you to meet."
Cass ushered Theresa over.
"She might be popping in to look after you every once in a while- cos you only see me and I bore you," she joked.
"So don't ribbit in her face- at least for now."
She scratched his chin. He was a lovely frog.

Theresa smiled as she saw the frog and walked closer. She was glad that Lil Tom didn't follow them, he had a tendency to eating smaller animals. "Cute" she said as she looked at Bradly. She pretended to be insulted at what Cassi had said "at least for now?" she asked. "You really are mean" she teased before she looked back at the frog.

"No!" she giggled, "It's really nice. But you'd be freaked out if Bradley just-
"Ribbit," said Bradley right in Theresa's ear.
"WOAH. I speak too soon. Sorry. And I am not mean!" she roared thunderously. "I'm not." She grinned.

Theresa blinked twice before the shock cleared from her face. She stood still for a moment with a blank expression. She blinked again before she brought her right hand to her ear and covered it. "I think I have just gone death" she said slowly. She was still shocked that such a small thing could have possibly ruined her ear drum.

"Oh, right." she mouthed exaggeratedly. "Suck on this mint humbug- it'll make your ear pop."
She turned to Bradley, and pointed at him angrily. "Naughty Bradley!"
Why do I bleeding bother.
With a typically quiet 'Ribbit', Bradley hopped around Cass and snuggled into Theresa's shoulder.

Theresa smiled as she looked at the frog "he is cute- when he isnt trying to make me deaf" she said. She smiled when she heard her ear pop. "testing... testing... I can hear!" she said happily. She began to do a little happy dance to celebrate her refound hearing, nearly knocking her bag to the floor as she did so.

Cass joined in the happy dance, laughing when Bradley jumped along.
"He's so funny!" she chortled, wiping a tear from her eyes.

Theresa laughed as Bradly jumped along "he is, definetely a mad one there" she said before she stopped dancing and tried to look at Cassi seriously. "Everyone you know is crazy, you easily make friends with crazy people... I wonder why..." she teased in a sweet voice, trying her hardest not to laugh as she waited for her to catch on.

Cass narrowed her eyes. "Hey. You're my friend... haha!"
Cass put on a posh british voice, "He is actually really intelligent. He picks up on human behaviour really well. Infact, he knows who to trust...that's actually why I brought you here." she admitted, blushing. "Not that I don't trust you already- I wanted Bradley's seal of approval. It's been me and him since forever, you know what I mean?"

Theresa nodded "yeah, 'course" she said before she looked back at the frog. "He probably is smart, he does know how to dance so he is the smartest frog I know" she said, laughing slightly. She grinned "I have been trying to get Lil Tom to dance for months so he is smarter than a cat for sure" she said.

"He learnt from the best, Theresa," said Cass in all seriousness. "He was in a dancing troupe with the great Margerini. I stole him when I saw how he was being treated. Now you see a bit of twitching here and there, sometimes you see a bit of dancing, but now, he's an average frog. I think I'm happy with that."
Cass left a silence.
"Hey," she said slowly, "I've got an idea..."

Theresa nodded, annoyed that anyone could abuse such a cute little frog. She wondered how he was taught to dance but felt like she shouldn't ask. She was interested when she heard about an idea "what is it, I love ideas" she said, wondering what her friend had come up with.

"I could ask Bradley to teach 'Lil Tom a few moved- after all, he was trained to dance by Margerini. Evil as he was, he knew how to make animals flamenco. Why don't we get them to meet one time?"
She made a questioning glance to Bradley. Shrugging his shoulders almost, and Ribbiting, Cass whipped her head back round to Theresa for her answer.

Theresa laughed "sounds great, as long as Lil Tom can cantrol himself though, he usually likes eating anything that is smaller than him, even if it is unedible" she said. She thought about Lil Tom and was sure that he could control himself... as long as Bradly didn't look tasty to him.
"Sorry Cassi but I have to go, bye!" Theresa said in a rush as she ran out of the forest and to the Hufflepuff common room for her work.

Alex looked round for Cass she was supposed to meet her here to see her toad Bradley "Cass are you here?" she called out. She hoped she would find her soon the forest creped her out a bit. “Cass?” she called out a few more times hoping for a reply. She hoped she would turn up soon.

Huffing and puffing, Cass stopped running. She grabbed onto her knees, trying to stop her breathing going completely out of the window.
"Good, you're here. Right, I'll get shouting for Bradley."

She hadn't wanted for Alex to get there first, incase she was worried for getting caught. Then again, it seemed like Seventy Five Points Taken- Cass needed a bit of help in that department.

“finally" she said "I hate being in here we better not get caught" she hissed at Cass "if we do I blame you!” she said “now” she said a little more calmly “where is Bradley?” she asked her. She was new to this and she didn’t like this. “Gryffindor’s are rule breakers not ravenclaws that was the reason I wasn’t sorted into Gryffindor.” She said to her. She tried desperately to calm herself down.

"Don't worry, we can take him out to the Lake with us. He likes to swim. We'll head over when he comes. BRADLEY!" she yelled the last part.

She patted Alex's shoulder as she got more and more agitated. "Don't worry, he's coming. BRADLE- oh! There you are!" Bouncing, bubbling, beautiful Bradley. "Come on," she cooed, offering her hand to let him ride, "We're heading to the lake. Alex, let's go back to our previous place."

Alex looked the frog on Cass’s hand he was cute. Alex breathed a sigh of relief glad to be escaping the forest. “I’ll meet you back at the lake then” she said to Cass before practically running out of the forest. She would be much happier and calmer when she was out of this place.

"Here again!" said Cass to Bradders merrily. "You ok staying here tonight- you look pooped. Remember next year I'll probably ask to see if I can get you in my dorm with me. Then we can be roomies!"

She saw Alex behind her, who had been trying to catch up with Bradley's erratic jumping. "You still here?" she joked.

"that frog may look tired but he jumped about the whole way over here!" she laughed " she carefully picked up Bradley and offered him to Cass so she good say bye to her pet. "so what's the plan?" she asked. She looked around her things seemed so different since the last time she was in here probably because her bad memories were now clear and fesh in her mind she knew it was being here that had brought them back but she didn't mind it so much.

"So, you fancy going a little deeper into the forest? I hear you wanted to and all. But I have a better plan," Cass grinned widely. "Turn around, close your eyes."

Cass was grinning so bad. "Open 'em."

This was going to ROCK.

2whatever cass but i'm not sure I like where this is going" she frowned at her friend but she closed her eye's anyway and turned around. she felt uncomfortable standing in the middle of the forest her eye's closed it remided her so much of when she was little what if cass abonded her. stop it she told herself. "open your eye's" she heard Cass say. She opened her eye's.

Cass watched only Alex as she opened her eyes, unexpectant. It took Alex a moment to focus her eyes onto Cass in front of her. She moved out of the way, and let Alex see what was behind her.

A picnic.
"See you have your own little place to sit, and everything! We got Cauliflower Pureé and Chocolate Frogs. Eh, those are my staple food groups, I'm afraid. But they'll do, right?"

Alex watched as Cass steped aside to revel a picnic! "when did you do this cass?" she asked her friend "it's amazing and don't worry choclate frogs and cauliflower puree sound perfect" she smiled. "you really should eat a more balanced diet cassopeia" she said teasing her. "you are amazing Cass the best friend ever!" she squeled hugging her.
