Hilary headed up to the library, wanting to get a start on the research project they had been assigned on Grindelwald. With so much to do with finals, she didn't want to leave it until the last minute.

While waiting for Shelby to get there, she found a few books and started taking some notes about the wizard. She found, the more she read, the most interesting this guy was proving to be.

She copied out a second copy of her notes for Shelby.

    • Considered the most dark wizard of all time, with the exception of Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort.
    • Attended Durmstrang, but was expelled.
    • Born circa 1883, in Europe, probably somewhere in Germany or Austria-Hungary.
    • Had the same amount of talent as Dumbledore, but chose to devote himself to experimenting in the dark arts.
    • He was particularly interesting in the Deathly Hallows, and engraved the symbol on the wall of Durmstrang before he left.
    • His search for the Hallows eventually led him to Godric’s Hallow, where he met Dumbledore.

"Sorry, sorry I'm late," Shelby whispered, sliding into the seat beside Hilary. She'd been studying for their Defense Against the Dark Arts final and she'd lost track of time. "What have you got so far?" she asked.

She pulled a piece of parchments with a list of facts on it toward her. "Wow, you've been working," she muttered, feeling horrible that she'd left Hilary here by herself to do so much of the work all by herself. "What would you like me to do?"
