Walking outside in the breeze was calming, or so the Gryffindor thought. It felt nice to be out again, she had been confined to the Gryffindor Common Room, studying for the finals.

Jasmeet was heading towards the lake, like always, and when she reached it, she started to walk along it. The lake put her at ease, perhaps that’s why she loved coming out here.

Will was on his second volume on Nero Arts Ero Tica, engaged in it's text and it's brimming knowledge of spells. It was a gift from his grandmother for his twelfth birthday and for once, he was glad for the gift.

He looked down for a moment to see Jas. "Hey, long time no see."

At the voice, Jasmeet looked around. She had not realised that she was not alone. She searched through the grounds, and saw his brown hair, and then his blue robes. Recognising the Ravenclaw, she smiled and nodded, "Hey Will. It has been a long time”.

She couldn’t remember the last time she had seen the boy, but he looked the same as ever.

"I guess," He shrugged, clearing his throat slightly. He was still a little tired out from exams.

Will closed his book and straightened a bit, taking a good gander at the well thawed out lake. "How was your exams going?" He asked aloud, tapping the book against his leg.

“I must have done something right, if I’m still living,” she grinned, “But they have tired me out. All I want now is to just relax. How were yours?”

It was awkward talking to him, or so she thought. Perhaps it was because they hadn’t talked to each other for a while now. She really wasn’t sure what had been happening in his life – except for the obvious, he was tired.

Will shrugged a second time. "It was fine. Only the Transfiguration exam was the hardest of the lot. Maybe the History of Magic test was the easiest in comparison."

And it didn't help much that he caught the flu just as exams were starting. He was sure he lost a few precious points from DADA because of it. There goes his straight O streak...

Jasmeet nodded, "Well for me, the hardest will have to be Charms. It's hard trying to impress Professor Malfoy so I had to be extra careful with my answers in that exam," she shrugged, "At least I pass all exams, I really couldn't ask for more. Unlike what I hear about you. Going for an all O streak".
