Theresa followed Mary, her eyes widened when she saw the creatures. They looked like Plimplies but were hurt. She picked one up carefully and gestured for Mary to do the same. Plimplies only ate lake snails so they would be harmless to touch and they would have a better chance at healing them then.

Mary saw Theresa take one creature in her hands and understood her new friend's motion for her to take one up, too. The black haired witch took one poor thing gently in her hands and then swam back up, carefull to keep the cute thing in her hands.
"Do you know what are they? Can we help them?" Mary asked the minute her head hit the surface and breathed in the air.

Theresa nodded "they look like Plimplies, these ones are hurt but the ones down there are fine so we must be getting closer, great one Mary" she said excitedly. "These little guys will need water, I brought some fish bowls in my bag so we can have a proper look at them and see what to do" she said as she began to swim to the edge of the lake where Shelby was.

So you're a Plimpie Mary thought, looking at the cute thing in her hand.
She swam to the shore along Theresa, keeping the hand with the Plimpie on it in the water so she wouldn't damage is even more.
Mary wondered where Theresa got fish tanks from and thought about sending her owl to her parents to send some fish bowls to her, but then she remembered her pet wouldn't be strong enough to carry that.

Theresa put the plimpy she was holding in the fish tank and put some of the lake water into it. "What do you think Shelby?" she asked as she looked at the poor thing. She hoped that not many creatures would have it this bad, it looked so cruel and just horrid.

Alex had watched as Theresa and Mary picked up two plimplies they looked injured. When she dived back down she saw another one injured. It's leg looked bent and broken. She swam down too it and picked it up in her cupped hands. She resurfaced and began to swim back to the edge and the water got shallower she stood up and shouted to Theresa "I found another plimpy" she said "i thikn it was in the same group as the ones you and mary picked up. I think it'slegs broken" she told her.

Indiana had been paddling on a small canoe that he had found at the docks of the lake when he had received an owl from Theresa. Though he had planned on diving down and exploring another part of the lake, the youth decided to check out what they were doing and thus, paddled his way to the open before seeing a good number of people diving into the lake in the distance.

He then spotted Theresa before calling out. "Oi, Theresa!"

"Ok Alexandra, could you put it in a fish bowl please" Theresa said, smiling at her before she saw the poor Plimply.
She looked back when she heard someone call her, her smile grew "hey Indiana!" she said. She swam over to the canoe "glad you could come" she said when she stopped next to him.

Alex quickly put the plimply in a fish bowl like Theresa instructed she hoped they would all be ok. She jumped back into the lake and swam back to where they rescused the other pimplies to see if there were any more injured ones. She saw a couple but they all looked okay so she countined searching for other animals.

Cass swam back to the edge of the shore, and admired everyone's hardwork. Everyone seemed to be good swimmers, so there was no need for her being the lifeguard, not that she was.
"How's the stuff going everyone?" she asked to the lake.

The air was getting colder now, and Cass yelled an impromptu "Accio blankets!" for the group to have once they'd risen again.

She thought about what she had seen whilst underwater. Plimply City, population billion. Scary, because there was so many, but cool.

Mary figured she's to do what Theresa told Alexandra, so, she too, put the Plimpy in the bowl. She heard some boy greet Theresa and Mary turned around to see who it was. She reckognized Indiana, who she dueled in DADA. She waved to him and then dove back into the lake to check if there are any other injured animals.

After casting his cloak off that had concealed himself wearing a black shirt and black baggy swimming shorts, the youth nodded before placing a pair of flippers on his feet. He caught sight of Mary waving at him before waving back.

"Indeed." Indiana replied before placing goggles over his head and entering the water. "So what's the plan?"

Shelby kept an eye on the injured Plimpies. They looked pretty sad. "Don't just look for animals that are injured," she called to the people in the water. "Keep an eye on the environment as well. If there's anything that it looks like we can fix, come up here and tell me what you saw and where you saw it.

Theresa smiled as she swimmed back "we need to search for anything that could be injured and to help things that look broken" she said. "So far, we found some plimpies that look really hurt, one is even missing a leg" she said sadly.
She looked at Cassi and thought that it was a good idea with the blankets. "We need to see about the plimpies but other then that, everything is great!" she said. She diived back under the water and was surprised to see some rubble on the floor of the lake.

After seeing what the others were doing, Indiana spoke. "Alright then."

With that, Indiana slipped the goggles over his eyes before descending deep down into the water. The scars on his right leg somewhat tingled a bit, reminding him to keep an eye out for the giant octopus.

As he looked around the underwater grounds of the lake, Indiana noticed the damaged terrain and craters that looked to have been blasted by dynamite... or Exploding Snap cards.

'Looks like Raven and Dixie did more damage than I thought.'

Mary was swimming through the seaweed along few floats of fish and they all seemed all right.
Nothing seemed weird with the enviornment, either, so the witch soon swam back up to get the air.
After taking a deep breath, she dove again. It all seemed normal, no injured animals or plants. She saw Theresa swimming there, so Mary saw no need to be in that area. She swam back to the surface and then back to the shore.
Seeing her bag, where she had a towel, was not so close to the shore, she cursed herself. Of course, she didn't have her wand with her when she went swimming, so she had no option but to walk to get the towels.
Groaning, the young witch ran to her bag and wrapped her green towel around her.

Theresa looked over the rubble and wondered how something could be so destructive, this might have been where that smoke was comming from. She picked up some of the rocks and what looked like claw and swam to the survice. "Major damage down there" she said as she put what she picked up on the grass.

Mary looked at Theresa, surprised. She was just down there and she didn't see anything unusual. After seeing Indiana, she got an idea.
I'll write to Mum and Dad to send me goggles. It'll be easier. she made a mental note.
Running towards the lake, now making sure her towel was close enough on the shore, she dove back in and swam to the place where her Hufflepuff friend was.

"There is a lot of rubble on the ground, it could mean that we are close to what this might be" she said. She wanted to find out the worst part under the lake, she knew it would be bad but it was better to help.

"It was this way" she said as she dived under the water and to the place she was before. She stopped when she reached it and looked around, she hated to think of what could have done so much.

Moving about while exploring the bottom of the lake, Indiana surveyed the damage before memorizing the location. He wasn't sure on whether or not to fix the damages now. Deciding that direct intervention would do more harm than good, the youth continued onwards but made sure to mentally compile a damage report once he headed back to the surface.

Theresa piled some of the rubble to one side as she thought about what could have done this. She squeaked when she realised that she needed air desperatly. She swam back to the top of the water when she needed to breath. She looked around and saw Inidana "Hey, find anything?" she called to him.

After looking around aimlessly, Indiana had a good idea on the scope of the damage before swimming back to the surface.

As he resurfaced for air, he heard Theresa ask him on whether he found anything.

"There are some craters that looked like they were caused by explosions. I didn't Exploding Snap cards hold that much power." Indiana replied, pointing east at a location not far from the canoe.

Theresa looked where Indiana had pointed. "It's surprising, there are things down there which has probably been ruined for years too" she said. She wondered how the creatures of the lake had lived so calmly with such disasters in their home. She swam to the side and put more of the rubble on the grass before swimming out again.

Shelby listened to Indiana and Resa from her spot on the shore and took note of what he said. She wasn't sure that Exploding Snap cards could carve craters into the landscape. Raven and Dixie would have had to thrown in at least ten decks of cards to cause that kind of damage, and Shelby was sure that they hadn't thrown in that many cards.

"What does it look like around the craters?" she called to Indiana, trying to get a better sense of the all around damage.

"Well, the landscape is uneven and completely empty of visible plant life. There are some cracks on the surface of the ground surrounding the outside of the craters. The craters themselves aren't big as their diameters are around two feet and a quarter of a foot in depth with sediment starting to fill in. They look more like dents in the ground, though I have yet to find anything else that's bigger." Indiana replied.
